The so-called one-pot pasta dishes are becoming more and more popular, which is logical, because the advantages are obvious: they are often quickly prepared in just one pot, there is not so much washing afterwards, and because the noodles are completely cooked in the sauce, they are always incredibly creamy. This also applies to this delicious recipe with peas.

Recipe for delicious pasta in one pot with peas

Here’s how it works: For creamy one-pot pasta with peas, first chop the onion and sauté it in a little olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

After about a minute, add the frozen peas, season with salt and pepper and simmer, covered, for about eight minutes. Stir every now and then.

Now take the pot off the stove for a moment, take a stick blender and puree about half of the peas. If this is too confusing for you, you can also put half of the peas from the pot into a bowl, mash them into a puree there and pour them back into the pot. No problem, but then you have to wash an extra bowl.
