Cut the onion into small cubes and fry briefly in a pan on heated oil. Chop or press the garlic and add it too.

Clean the vegetables, peel them if necessary and cut them into small cubes. Then add the diced vegetables to the pot and saute briefly. Deglaze with vegetable broth.
Rinse the lentils thoroughly in a colander under running water. Then add to the pot and simmer over low heat until the lentils and vegetables are soft. Remove the pot from the heat and puree the soup with a mixer.
