You need the following ingredients for about 4 people:

1 can of chopped tomatoes
1 can of coconut milk
1 onion
180 g of red lentils
3 teaspoons of chili powder
2 teaspoons of turmeric
Lemon juice from whole lemons
600 ml of vegetable soup
sunflower oil, salt, pepper


  • Cut the onion into small cubes and sauté it in sunflower oil. Add red lentils, tomato with juice and coconut milk and mix well.
  • Pour the vegetable broth over the soup and let it cook slowly for about 20 minutes. Season with spices and lemon juice.

Advice: If you wish, you can also add curry paste to spice up the soup.

Vegan Cream of Tomato Soup

The classic tomato soup is also vegan. We bring you a recipe with fresh ingredients and how to prepare them.

Our advice: For the base of the soup, you should use fresh tomatoes because they simply have a more intense flavor.

Ingredients for 4 people:

1 kg of tomatoes
60 ml of coconut milk/soy cream/vegan cream
600 ml of vegetable soup
2 onions
3 cloves of garlic
Olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika powder


  • Peel the tomatoes by scoring a large X in the bottom of each tomato. Put the cruciferous tomatoes in boiling water for 1 minute, take them out and cool them briefly under cold water
  • Now you should be able to peel the skin off super easily. Chop the peeled tomatoes into small pieces.
  • Dice the onion and mince the garlic. Sweat both in hot sunflower oil.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and vegetable stock and simmer until the tomatoes soften, every 10 minutes.
  • Add vegetable stock and coconut milk or alternative vegan cream. Season everything and mash the ingredients into a creamy soup.

Advice: Serve the soup with vegetable yogurt or non-dairy cream and basil.

  • Finely chop the onion and garlic. Cut the broccoli into florets and chop the stems as well. Peel and dice the potatoes
  • Saute onion and garlic in melted butter. Gradually add the flour and mix thoroughly until a roux is formed.
  • Stir in vegetable soup and milk, add broccoli and potatoes. Let everything simmer for about 20 minutes.
  • Now add the cream and cheese and wait for the cheese to melt.
  • Mix the ingredients in the soup with a hand blender

Extra tip: make your own coupons

Cut the toast into small cubes, and cut the garlic in half. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and add the garlic. Fry the bread cubes in it for about 5 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on all sides.
