One basic recipe, many possibilities: Our meatballs with vegetable yogurt

You can modify these meatballs according to your wishes and use, for example, other types of minced meat. Lamb is traditionally used in Israel. This is a little more expensive, but even tastier and nicer. If you eat vegan like our editor, you can easily use vegan minced meat thanks to the many alternatives. You’ll probably taste just as good thanks to the tantalizing spices in our recipe. Try it yourself!

Meatballs with vegetable yogurt also go well with a piece of homemade flatbread if you are not hungry. And if you want to try your way through different flavors, serve another sauce with vegetable yogurt. What do you think of, for example, our spicy zhug or one of our different hummus varieties?
